Requirements
- Significant Product Management experience, including leading product strategy across multiple teams or complex technical workflows.
- Experience directly managing Product Managers, including coaching, performance management, and hiring.
- Strong technical fluency in infrastructure, cloud platforms, observability, telemetry, data pipelines, or high-scale databases.
- Strong product instincts around AI and identifying where it creates meaningful value in technical products.
- Strong customer empathy and ability to translate complex problems into clear product strategy.
- Proven cross-functional leadership and communication skills, specifically influencing Engineering, Design, Analytics, and executive stakeholders.
- Ability to operate effectively in a globally distributed, remote-first environment.
- BS/BA in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and own the product vision and strategy for Data Collection, Transformation, and Ingestion as a core platform capability for Grafana Cloud.
- Partner with senior R&D leaders to align technical strategy, prioritize roadmap items, and balance business impact with operational excellence.
- Define how AI influences telemetry instrumentation, cost control, data quality, and query efficiency.
- Build strong relationships with customers, prospects, and observability practitioners.
- Coach and develop Product Managers to strengthen product judgment, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management.
- Help GTM teams understand product differentiation, market positioning, and AI relevance.
