Requirements
- PhD or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of leading in data elaboration/computation modelling in pharmaceutical/biotech/medtech industry.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, R, JavaScript).
- Experience with data manipulation tools (e.g., SQL).
- Knowledge of drug development processes and relevant regulatory requirements (GMP, FDA, ICH, EMEA).
- Knowledge of mathematical models, advanced analytics, and basic statistics.
- Understanding of big data management, deep learning, and machine learning.
- Familiarity with simulation and modeling techniques used in R&D process, plant, or product design.
- Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work in complex, cross-functional environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a high-performing team dedicated to data elaboration and visualization.
- Translate stakeholder needs within R&D into effective data elaboration and visualization solutions.
- Drive the digital transformation of R&D by contributing to and implementing the digital roadmap.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of data models and visualizations, from design and development to deployment and optimization.
- Develop and implement advanced analytical models that empower data-driven decision-making.
- Support the definition and management of the R&D data elaboration platform, including HPC solutions.
- Establish and enforce robust quality standards for all data activities.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to integrate state-of-the-art models and methodologies.
