Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience shipping software products or services.
  • Experience in roles such as Product Management, Program Management, Architect, Developer, QA, Release Manager, DevOps, Product Support, or Professional Services.
  • Strong technical acumen and technical horsepower.
  • Ability to work effectively in a self-directed remote or in-person capacity.
  • Strong knowledge in at least one software delivery, management, or architecture discipline.
  • Action-oriented personality with a drive to get things done.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges outside of initial comfort zone.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in and drive technical due diligence efforts on behalf of investment companies.
  • Assess the capability of a software engineering organization and create a plan to improve the team.
  • Design and implement solutions from scratch, such as Agile methodology transformations.
  • Guide and mentor more junior software developers and other engineers.
  • Collaborate with internal and client technical leads to deliver high-quality project results.
  • Identify improvements for existing technology, organizations, processes, and tools.
