Requirements
- Significant experience as a technology leader in DevSecOps, IT security, or related areas
- Experience with AI for software development in the enterprise
- Expertise in DevSecOps strategy, application security, and compliance for regulated environments
- Experience creating technical marketing content and delivering thought leadership presentations
- Experience delivering cybersecurity or compliance-related solutions and assessments
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle, CI/CD, and modern operations practices
- Experience with cloud computing and modern platform architectures
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills for executive audiences
- Experience in technical pre-sales or comparable customer-facing IT roles
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers in a technical consulting and advisory role during the pre-sales process, providing technical assistance and strategic guidance
- Deliver executive-level thought leadership on DevSecOps, security, and compliance for strategic opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with customer leadership including CISOs, CTOs, and security architects
- Partner with marketing to develop content and support media engagement to increase awareness
- Educate customers on GitLab platform value and support successful deployment strategies
- Curate field feedback to influence marketing and product roadmaps and contribute to sales playbooks
