Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Deep Healthcare IT product engineering experience.
- Proven experience scaling teams and improving engineering velocity and quality.
- Practical experience with AI-directed development practices (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot).
- Expertise in governing AI-generated code, including HIPAA compliance and clinical AI safety controls.
- Experience managing geographically distributed, multi-timezone engineering organizations.
- Experience managing consulting vendor relationships and mixed workforce models.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, APIs, and interoperability.
- Proven ability to enforce architectural standards as the source of truth for engineering decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to drive a high-performance culture centered on ownership and accountability.
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple software engineering teams delivering healthcare product enhancements and cloud-native modernization.
- Operationalize AI-directed engineering practices, including governance of AI-generated code and clinical AI agent deployment.
- Enforce architecture-as-source-of-truth discipline across all engineering teams.
- Manage end-to-end delivery across planning, execution, quality, and release readiness.
- Drive predictability through Agile models and disciplined operating cadences.
- Recruit, develop, and coach high-performing engineering managers, architects, and engineers.
- Manage budgets, headcount planning, and vendor relationships across a global workforce.
