Requirements
- 7+ years of similar work experience in a client-facing role.
- VMWare certifications (VCP/VCAP).
- Advanced PowerShell scripting experience.
- Proficiency in cloud technology infrastructure, networking, and system integrations.
- Deep knowledge of Windows Server OS (including 2008, 2008R2, 2012) and Windows Roles/Features.
- Understanding of Active Directory/Entra, DNS, DHCP, and Certificate Authorities.
- Knowledge of server virtualization (vSphere, VCSA, snapshots, Hyper-V clusters).
- Ability to perform off-hours changes and participate in on-call rotation.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Microsoft certifications (MCP, MCSA) preferred.
- Linux experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an escalation point for the Network Operations Center (NOC) and support engineers for complex issue resolution.
- Operate and maintain Windows servers in virtualized environments using VMWare or Hyper-V.
- Build and maintain infrastructure within Azure and AWS environments.
- Support and administer environments with high-availability and disaster recovery technologies.
- Analyze server alerts to perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot resource utilization issues.
- Perform operational maintenance, system upgrades, and off-hours changes as needed.
- Participate in on-call rotations.
