Requirements
- High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or related field preferred.
- 7+ years of experience as a senior engineer in a mid-to-large-scale enterprise environment.
- 4+ years of hands-on, production-grade experience with Azure.
- 3+ years of hands-on, production-grade experience with Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong proficiency in Terraform for production IaC.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or Cloud Build.
- Expertise in Kubernetes (AKS and/or GKE) including Helm and pod security.
- Experience with HashiCorp Vault for enterprise secrets management.
- Proficiency in infrastructure automation scripting using Python or Bash.
- Deep understanding of networking (VPC, BGP, DNS, hub-spoke topologies) and cloud security controls.
- Experience with monitoring/observability tools like DataDog, SigNoz, or cloud-native monitors.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available environments across Azure and GCP.
- Own landing zone design and automation, including IAM governance and policy enforcement.
- Operate production-grade Kubernetes environments including AKS and GKE.
- Develop and maintain Terraform modules and manage CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployment.
- Design, operate, and secure secrets management using HashiCorp Vault.
- Implement monitoring, observability, and incident response runbooks to ensure system reliability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align infrastructure with business goals and mentor team members.
