Requirements

  • Advanced degree (MSc, PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent).
  • Approximately 6+ years of experience in medical communications, medical writing, or scientific publications.
  • Proven experience leading multiple accounts or large-scale scientific communication initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success managing and developing scientific teams.
  • Exceptional scientific writing, editing, and data interpretation skills.
  • Strong knowledge of publication planning, clinical research methodologies, and industry regulations.
  • Familiarity with GPP, ICMJE guidelines, and PhRMA standards.
  • Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and scientific content development tools.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead scientific strategy for complex medical communications accounts.
  • Develop and oversee integrated publication and scientific communication plans including manuscripts and congress materials.
  • Serve as the primary scientific advisor for client stakeholders.
  • Ensure scientific quality, accuracy, and compliance across all deliverables.
  • Support medical, legal, and regulatory review processes.
  • Contribute to business growth through leadership in proposals and pitches.
  • Manage and mentor a team of scientific professionals.
  • Drive operational excellence and process optimization.
