Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in FPGA design, digital signal processing, or related technical fields.
- Strong hands-on expertise in FPGA development tools such as Quartus or similar environments.
- Deep knowledge of DSP theory, including filtering, channelization, beamforming, and RF signal chain design.
- Proficiency with modeling and development tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, Python, or C/C++.
- Familiarity with DSP-centric design flows like DSP Builder or System Generator.
- Proven background in customer-facing technical roles such as Field Applications Engineering or technical sales.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.
- Ability to travel and work across distributed customer engagements.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical interface for customers evaluating or deploying DSP solutions on FPGA platforms.
- Lead pre-sales and design-in activities, including delivering technical demos and solution positioning.
- Support full design lifecycle execution from concept through production and troubleshoot system-level issues.
- Develop reusable reference designs, application notes, and technical collateral to scale engagement efficiency.
- Contribute to DirectRF initiatives by supporting aerospace, defense, and government opportunities.
- Partner cross-functionally with product marketing and engineering to influence roadmap decisions.
