Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 6+ years of experience in Medicare Advantage, managed care, compliance, or risk management within a regulated healthcare environment.
  • 2+ years of leadership or people management experience.
  • Strong understanding of Medicare Advantage regulations, carrier requirements, and sales compliance frameworks.
  • Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships across internal teams and external partners.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with experience engaging senior leadership and external executives.
  • Ability to analyze compliance risks, investigate issues, and recommend actionable corrective measures.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume environments with strong operational discipline.
  • Preferred: MBA, Juris Doctor, or other advanced degree.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of compliance professionals responsible for monitoring carrier-aligned agent and agency sales activities and ensuring adherence to Medicare Advantage compliance standards.
  • Design and oversee enterprise compliance monitoring strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate regulatory and contractual risk across sales operations.
  • Manage resolution processes for Complaints to Medicare (CTM) and other compliance allegations, ensuring timely and appropriate corrective actions.
  • Partner with sales leadership, carriers, agency partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on compliance expectations and execution standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with health plan carriers while coordinating compliance requirements and implementation efforts.
  • Provide expert guidance and consultation to sales partners on regulatory obligations, risk areas, and compliant sales practices.
  • Research emerging compliance issues and recommend policy or process changes to strengthen enterprise risk controls.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure consistent enforcement of compliance frameworks and continuous improvement of oversight processes.
