Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in compensation management, preferably within high-growth technology or SaaS organizations
  • Strong expertise in compensation program design, administration, benchmarking, and compensation cycle management
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including complex formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis techniques
  • Experience working with compensation survey providers and third-party compensation benchmarking vendors
  • Strong knowledge of HRIS platforms, including compensation management modules and related workflows
  • Deep understanding of compensation-related regulations, including wage and hour laws, pay equity legislation, and classification requirements
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and deliver actionable recommendations
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of operating independently

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage recurring compensation programs, including merit reviews, promotion cycles, bonus programs, equity adjustments, and other compensation initiatives
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on compensation-related decisions, including offers, promotions, retention strategies, and off-cycle compensation adjustments
  • Partner with People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and leaders to provide guidance on compensation philosophy, pay decisions, and compensation best practices
  • Maintain and enhance salary structures, job leveling frameworks, and compensation architecture to support organizational growth and consistency
  • Monitor compensation-related legislation and regulatory changes, ensuring policies and practices remain compliant with federal, state, and local requirements
  • Conduct market benchmarking and compensation analysis to provide competitive insights and inform compensation strategy
  • Prepare executive-level compensation reports, recommendations, and committee materials to support strategic decision-making
