Requirements
- 8+ years of experience overseeing scaled organizing programs.
- At least one cycle of experience implementing relational organizing tactics.
- Experience in a federal or statewide campaign management role, or leadership role on a statewide campaign or independent expenditure program.
- Demonstrated ability to drive strategic conversations with senior stakeholders at campaigns, committees, and state tables.
- Multiple cycles of experience vetting, contracting with, and overseeing paid canvass firms.
- Experience managing budgets and scaling programs with complex logistics.
- Ability to manage a small team (1-3 people) with a coaching orientation.
- Commitment to evidence-based programming with an eagerness to adapt tactics based on research.
- Proactive, clear communication skills across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Ability to travel to program sites up to 40% of the time.
- Available during core hours of 10am-6pm ET.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate and manage relationships with senior stakeholders at progressive partner organizations to support tactical implementation.
- Manage and oversee paid canvass firms, including vetting, contracting, training, and performance monitoring.
- Design and implement systems for quality control to ensure program fidelity and prevent canvasser fraud.
- Develop and execute risk management systems in coordination with legal counsel and operations leadership.
- Collaborate with the Program team to apply best practices, document learnings, and report on program performance.
- Provide strategic updates to donors and leadership regarding program design and outcomes.
