Requirements
- Solid backend development experience, preferably with Go.
- Proficiency with relational databases including MySQL, SQLite, and Postgres.
- Experience delivering end-to-end projects from requirements gathering to production.
- Proven ability to write clean, robust, and performant maintainable code.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers in asynchronous, collaborative environments.
- Ability to analyze, design, and build modular solutions for complex technical challenges.
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, or Developer Efficiency workflows.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Operational experience including on-call duties or SRE tasks.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Prior exposure to open-source software or commercial open-source organizations.
Responsibilities
- Deliver new functionality and iterate based on performance and user feedback.
- Contribute to and review technical design documents for new features.
- Participate in on-call rotations and take ownership of backend services.
- Influence the product roadmap and personal career objectives.
- Mentor team members and collaborate across various engineering squads.
- Share knowledge and ideas across different technical mindsets.
- Contribute to open-source projects outside the immediate squad scope.
