Requirements
- Solid backend development experience, ideally with Go.
- Understanding of storage solutions with an emphasis on relational databases (MySQL, SQLite, Postgres).
- Experience delivering projects end-to-end, from requirements gathering to shipping products.
- Experience writing clean, robust, and performant, maintainable software.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers in an asynchronous environment.
- Ability to break down complex challenges to deliver modular solutions and MVPs.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (Bonus).
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, or developer efficiency work streams (Bonus).
- Operational knowledge of Grafana and Prometheus (Bonus).
- Exposure to microservices and distributed systems (Bonus).
Responsibilities
- Work with your team to deliver new functionality and iterate based on results.
- Contribute to and review design documents for upcoming features.
- Take an active role in influencing the roadmap and career objectives.
- Participate in team on-call rotations and take ownership of running services.
- Mentor and support other team members and collaborate across squads.
- Share ideas and knowledge across diverse technical ideologies.
