Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in building front-end applications with React or similar modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Proven ability to collaborate in the design, integration, and delivery of AI-powered features in a SaaS product.
- Hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs), generative AI APIs, and intelligent automation.
- Solid foundation in cloud-native software architecture and development.
- Fluency with REST, RPC, and GraphQL APIs.
- Skilled in writing unit and integration test suites.
- Comfortable working within continuous integration pipelines and automation workflows.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong emphasis on active listening.
- Highly collaborative with exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Data-driven mindset with a track record of using metrics to guide technical decisions.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting instincts.
Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to multiple concurrent engineering efforts.
- Design and build modern, responsive front-end applications using frameworks such as React.
- Take ownership of features from planning through delivery by proactively estimating scope and leading implementation.
- Provide thoughtful, high-quality code reviews that elevate the team’s output.
- Design performant, scalable, and reliable software considering functional and non-functional aspects.
- Create and update unit tests to ensure proper coverage and maintain standards.
- Define and evolve coding standards, workflow processes, performance benchmarks, and observability practices.
- Leverage observability best practices to define monitors and alerts for production health.
- Partner with R&D stakeholders to deliver results and provide guidance to other engineers.
- Participate in, and lead the resolution of, after-hours production incidents.
