Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of professional experience in AWS development and architecture.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services, specifically SNS, SQS, CloudWatch, Lambda, and AWS SDKs.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript for backend development.
- Experience with AWS container solutions including ECS, Fargate, and EKS.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Proven experience working with and managing offshore development teams.
- Proficiency in Agile Scrum methodologies.
- Certified AWS Solutions Architect or AWS Developer.
- Experience with Enterprise Data Integrations is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, create, and manage cloud applications and services using AWS services (SNS, SQS, CloudWatch, and Lambda), Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Integrate and optimize CI/CD pipelines for AWS application deployments using automation tools and AWS SDKs.
- Monitor AWS service performance using CloudWatch and deploy logging/alerting solutions to ensure system health.
- Collaborate with internal engineering, DevOps, and offshore development teams to ensure seamless cloud solution integrations.
- Engage with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust cloud architectures.
- Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Evaluate and integrate new AWS tools and programming practices to improve development efficiency.
