Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in manual QA testing within software or systems implementation environments.
- At least 2+ years of hands-on experience testing Oracle Utilities CC&B and/or Meter Data Management (MDM) systems in the utility industry.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test design, defect lifecycle, and structured testing processes.
- Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into detailed, reusable test cases.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for cross-functional and client-facing environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience working in Agile or structured implementation methodologies.
- Familiarity with automated testing, performance testing, or QA tools is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and manage comprehensive testing activities across Oracle Utilities implementations.
- Develop and execute manual test cases and test scripts based on functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Support the design and implementation of test strategies, test plans, and overall QA roadmaps.
- Perform unit, integration, system, and regression testing to validate application functionality and stability.
- Analyze Oracle Utilities applications (CC&B and/or MDM) to ensure compliance with technical and business requirements.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), production deployments, and release validation activities.
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution while communicating risks and issues to project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
