Requirements
- Proven experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or similar
- Strong experience building and maintaining data pipelines across multiple sources
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and/or Azure data technologies
- Strong SQL skills for data transformation and analysis
- Experience with Python for automation and data processing
- Experience with Git and version control
- Experience supporting reporting and business intelligence
- Understanding of modern cloud data engineering practices
- Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Collaborative and proactive mindset
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and evolve data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, including pipelines, dataflows, lakehouses, and warehouses
- Develop scalable and reusable data ingestion processes across multiple data sources
- Build and optimise data models that improve data quality, consistency, and accessibility
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into data solutions
- Implement monitoring, validation, and alerting for data reliability
- Deliver analytics-ready datasets for reporting tools like Power BI
- Introduce and promote DevOps best practices, including CI/CD and version control
- Collaborate with engineering teams on architecture and integrations
- Troubleshoot data issues and ensure high availability
- Contribute to best practices, documentation, and process automation
