Requirements
- Currently working as a Staff Engineer with department-level impact.
- Extensive experience in modern software engineering and distributed systems.
- Strong architectural thinking skills.
- Deep experience with event-driven systems and microservices.
- Deep experience with AWS-based architectures.
- Familiarity with data warehouse concepts, data modeling, data governance, and data quality frameworks.
- Solid understanding of AI concepts such as LLMs, embeddings, vector search, agents, and automation patterns.
- Experience integrating AI capabilities into existing systems or workflows.
- Fluent in English.
Responsibilities
- Provide architectural and technical leadership by driving scalable architectures and long-term technical improvements across teams.
- Support engineers hands-on in designing and implementing high-quality services, distributed systems, and data pipelines.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and other Staff Engineers to align on architectural decisions.
- Evaluate and integrate AI technologies to strengthen systems and product capabilities.
- Enable responsible AI adoption by defining best practices, guidelines, and reusable patterns.
- Mentor engineers and drive cross-team alignment to improve engineering-wide consistency.
