Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in digital forensics investigations, with significant mobile device forensics focus.
- Proven expertise in mobile forensic tools such as Cellebrite UFED/Physical Analyzer and Magnet AXIOM.
- Strong understanding of legal and evidentiary procedures related to mobile device evidence.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in Law Enforcement, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform forensic examinations of mobile devices (smartphones and tablets) running iOS and Android operating systems.
- Conduct extractions of data from mobile devices using industry-standard hardware and software (e.g., Cellebrite, Magnet AXIOM).
- Employ techniques to bypass or overcome device security features.
- Perform data recovery from damaged, locked, or malfunctioning mobile devices.
- Analyze mobile device data (call logs, SMS/MMS, media, app data, web history, location).
- Conduct SIM card and SD card analysis.
- Document all findings, methodologies, and chain of custody in reports.
- Present technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
