Requirements
- MS/PhD or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a similar technical field.
- Minimum of 4 years of industry experience.
- Experience working on applied research projects and shipping machine learning features/models into production.
- Experience driving projects on 3D detection, tracking of traffic agents, or semantic understanding of traffic scenes.
- Solid understanding of computing fundamentals and code efficiency.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Strong grasp of machine learning and computer vision literature and state-of-the-art techniques.
- Experience working with large datasets for machine learning applications.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prototype, evaluate, and iterate on perception algorithms using real-world data and simulations.
- Formulate problems and propose research-backed solutions for self-driving perception.
- Support productizing and deploying algorithms to vehicles by collaborating with platform teams.
- Champion engineering excellence through high-quality, well-structured, and tested code.
- Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team on perception, motion forecasting, planning, and traffic modeling.
- Work with large datasets and high-fidelity simulators to develop self-driving technologies.
- Contribute to research publications and company blog posts.
