Requirements
- Extensive experience in production networking environments.
- Strong expertise in BGP, routing policies, traffic engineering, and failover mechanisms.
- Hands-on experience with IPsec VPNs and site-to-site connectivity.
- Deep Linux networking knowledge including iproute2, tcpdump, nftables/iptables, and DNS.
- Understanding of datacenter networking concepts (VLANs, LACP, switching).
- Experience with cloud networking (VPC/VNet, NAT, load balancing).
- Kubernetes networking knowledge including CNI, ingress, and network policies.
- Experience with network observability and telemetry.
- Familiarity with network security practices and firewall management.
- Ability to automate infrastructure using Terraform/OpenTofu and Ansible.
- Strong written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate cross-data-center and cloud network connectivity.
- Build and maintain resilient networking across cloud, Kubernetes/Talos, OpenNebula, and bare-metal environments.
- Own end-to-end network change lifecycle including design, implementation, and documentation.
- Troubleshoot complex production networking issues involving Linux networking and routing protocols.
- Improve network automation, observability, and repeatability through IaC and Git-based workflows.
- Maintain documentation including topology diagrams, runbooks, and IPAM data.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and platform teams.
