Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in security, cloud, or infrastructure engineering.
- Deep hands-on experience securing AWS environments (IAM, VPC, EC2, EKS, S3, Lambda, CloudTrail).
- Solid knowledge of cloud security domains (network security, encryption, identity, secrets management).
- Proficiency with threat modeling methodologies such as STRIDE.
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code and automation frameworks (AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform).
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (Python, Go, Java).
- Experience building security automation and integrating into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native security controls and threat models in hyperscale environments.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and secure large-scale, distributed cloud environments supporting company services.
- Embed security-by-design principles into cloud services and internal platforms.
- Build and maintain secure, scalable AWS cloud architectures.
- Define guardrails for multi-account and multi-region setups.
- Manage security controls across compute, storage, networking, and identity layers.
- Perform threat modeling, architecture reviews, and risk assessments.
- Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
- Lead incident response and post-incident reviews.
- Mentor junior engineers and engage with audit and compliance teams.
