Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities in a complex organization.
- Strong technical accounting expertise with deep knowledge of GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is required.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing finance teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience managing audits, SOX compliance, and financial reporting in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to drive process improvements, automation, and scalable financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all core accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure full compliance with GAAP, SOX requirements, and all relevant financial regulations.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze financial performance and provide insights on key business metrics and trends to leadership.
- Own the revenue recognition process in compliance with ASC 606, including contract review and collaboration with sales and legal teams.
- Manage audit and tax processes, including coordination with external auditors and internal audit support.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team while fostering a collaborative culture.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process automation and efficiency initiatives.
- Support the evolution of financial systems and processes in preparation for future organizational scaling and controllership responsibilities.
