Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in security engineering or software engineering
- Expertise in application security including threat modeling and code review
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes/EKS
- Experience implementing security controls in service mesh environments like Istio
- Strong programming skills in Go or Python
- Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, and GitOps
- Knowledge of Kubernetes security tools like Kyverno, OPA, or Cilium
- Experience with regulatory frameworks like HIPAA, SOC 2, or ISO 27001
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Responsibilities
- Lead and continuously improve application security practices across the software development lifecycle
- Strengthen cloud and containerized environments by implementing security controls across AWS and Kubernetes
- Design and implement service mesh security controls
- Develop security guardrails and automation through policy-as-code
- Improve software supply chain security including image signing and provenance
- Drive vulnerability management and risk assessment
- Implement technical security controls for compliance frameworks
- Partner with engineering and operations to improve security services
