Requirements
- 12+ years of progressive data leadership experience.
- 5+ years managing multi-functional data teams at high-growth SaaS companies.
- Deep expertise in modern data platform architecture and AI-ready data infrastructure.
- Proven track record in self-service analytics transformation.
- Strong understanding of consumption and usage-based business models.
- Experience with dbt, semantic layers, or similar governed modelling approaches.
- Demonstrated ability to influence C-level and VP-level stakeholders.
- Experience developing distributed teams in remote, async-first environments.
- Strategic mindset with technical depth for evaluating new data and AI technologies.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute a multi-year data platform strategy for AI-native consumption.
- Lead the transformation from analyst-dependent reporting to AI-powered self-service.
- Oversee architecture of scalable, AI-ready data engineering foundations.
- Drive analytics engineering practices and governed, reusable data models.
- Build expertise in usage-based business model metrics for Revenue, Finance, and Product.
- Establish enterprise-wide data governance, quality standards, and access policies.
- Partner with C-level and VP-level stakeholders across business functions.
- Inspire and develop a high-performing distributed, async-first team.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging AI agents and data tooling.
