Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Application Security or Software Development (at least 3 years in AppSec).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in consulting or internal security roles.
- Strong understanding of application security controls, mitigation strategies, and secure architecture design.
- Experience with DevSecOps operations and integrating security into the SDLC.
- Coding proficiency in JavaScript, Python, Java, C++, PHP, or C#.
- Hands-on experience with generative AI in automated workflows.
- Familiarity with frameworks like OWASP SAMM, NIST SSDF, SLSA, and MITRE ATLAS.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%.
Responsibilities
- Deliver application security services including threat modeling, architecture reviews, and program assessments.
- Author comprehensive assessment deliverables tailored for both technical and managerial audiences.
- Collaborate directly with development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
- Foster and manage client relationships while overseeing concurrent engagements.
- Contribute to practice development, mentoring, and marketing initiatives through research and writing.
- Utilize generative AI to automate workflows and drive business outcomes.
