Requirements
- Licensed psychiatric nurse practitioner in TX
- Able to practice independently without supervision in the state(s) of licensure
- Hold an active DEA license in state(s) of licensure
- Hold an active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner certification issued by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive, flexible, and solution-focused attitude
- Ability to quickly synthesize medical and psychiatric data and formulate effective and evidence-based clinical recommendations
- Passionate, driven, & inspired by a mission to improve perinatal and/or perimenopause mental healthcare delivery
- Experience or interest in perinatal or perimenopause mental health and collaborative care
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management visits via telehealth.
- Perform asynchronous caseload consultations based on clinical information and medical records.
- Provide treatment recommendations for patients requiring specialized care.
- Complete pre-conception medication consultation and psycho-education.
- Maintain documentation for case consultations and patient visits.
- Work with care managers to oversee patient caseload and population health.
- Provide educational support on diagnosing and managing behavioral health conditions to the care team.
- Provide ad hoc consultations to OB providers for complex patient situations.
