Requirements
- Experience as a Senior Cost Manager, ideally from a cost consultancy background
- Strong experience in pre-contract cost management
- Experienced in budget control and cost planning
- Experience preparing and initiating change forms
- Knowledgeable on alternative construction materials
- Available to travel to the Data Centre job site in the U.S. for a period of one week per month
- Chartered or on the path to complete it
- Degree or comparable experience in a project management or construction discipline
- Excellent communicator verbally and in writing
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in the tender/bid process
- Manage the change management process
- Analyse tenders/bids to ensure client value for money
- Assist in the preparation and agreement of final accounts
- Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments
- Oversee project spend by creating valuations and cost reports
- Support nimble project management through cost documentation
- Support the settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims
- Foster top performance and growth for employees via mentorship
