Requirements

  • Experience as a Senior Cost Manager, ideally from a cost consultancy background
  • Strong experience in pre-contract cost management
  • Experienced in budget control and cost planning
  • Experience preparing and initiating change forms
  • Knowledgeable on alternative construction materials
  • Available to travel to the Data Centre job site in the U.S. for a period of one week per month
  • Chartered or on the path to complete it
  • Degree or comparable experience in a project management or construction discipline
  • Excellent communicator verbally and in writing

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in the tender/bid process
  • Manage the change management process
  • Analyse tenders/bids to ensure client value for money
  • Assist in the preparation and agreement of final accounts
  • Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments
  • Oversee project spend by creating valuations and cost reports
  • Support nimble project management through cost documentation
  • Support the settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims
  • Foster top performance and growth for employees via mentorship
