Requirements
- 7+ years of experience building test tools and frameworks.
- Proficiency in Groovy, Kotlin, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Familiarity with Linux or Mac OSX environments.
- Experience with BDD paradigms and frameworks (e.g., Spock, JBehave, Cucumber).
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Experience working in Agile development processes (Scrum/Kanban).
- Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., GitHub, Gitlab).
- Familiarity with REST APIs, contract testing, and service integration testing.
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Gemini, Claude).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and suites.
- Partner with engineering, product, and SDE/QA teams to support releases and identify quality risks.
- Build tools and test solutions to validate integrations with third-party services.
- Integrate automated test execution into the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Squad Leads, and other stakeholders to define quality strategies.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities.
- Maintain and continuously improve existing test frameworks and quality engineering processes.
- Leverage AI-powered tools to improve test design, automation development, and debugging.
