Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience
- 4+ years focused on Go development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Deep familiarity with Golang standard library, goroutine lifecycle, and channels
- Expertise in thread-safe data structures and memory-efficient code
- Proficiency with Redis, OpenSearch, and SQL databases
- Experience with AWS ECS, EC2, Docker, and GitHub Actions
- Solid understanding of networking protocols, TLS, and firewalls
- Experience with CI/CD and observability practices
Responsibilities
- Co-own and maintain multiple Golang applications forming the backbone of the MDR platform
- Maintain and enhance a high-performance log analytics engine
- Maintain and evolve post-processing programs
- Maintain and enhance a multi-tenant secure syslog server cluster
- Build and maintain a cross-platform security agent
- Make architectural decisions and influence technical design reviews
- Lead and participate in code reviews, mentoring junior and mid-level engineers
- Develop and maintain internal SOPs and software development best practices
