Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, test automation, or quality engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with test automation across API, service, and UI layers.
- Experience building and scaling test frameworks and automation practices.
- Strong understanding of modern testing tools like Playwright, Karate, and API/contract testing.
- Experience integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines and modern workflows.
- Ability to design testing strategies and establish standards.
- Hands-on coding experience with ability to write/review test code.
- Experience adopting AI into QA practices (Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Copilot).
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional alignment.
- Experience improving test reliability and reducing flakiness.
Responsibilities
- Design and drive implementation of testing standards, coverage, and guardrails.
- Shape and evolve the end-to-end testing stack (Playwright, Karate, Pact, Postman).
- Define the approach for creating, reviewing, executing, and maintaining test cases.
- Drive adoption of AI-assisted testing to accelerate creation, debugging, and maintenance.
- Build and own a scalable regression and smoke testing approach.
- Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines with deployment gating.
- Improve test environments, data management, and stability.
- Drive adoption of quality practices across Engineering and Product.
