Job Details

Languages: Native-level proficiency in Norwegian, exceptional command of English
Experience: Minimum of 3 years

Requirements

Native-level proficiency in Norwegian with an exceptional command of English technical terminology.
Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred.
Minimum of 3 years experience in technical translation, localization or MTPE.
Proven familiarity with terminology related to machinery, mechanics, devices, or the printing industry.
Proficient in using major CAT tools (e.g., Phrase, Trados, MemoQ).
Comfortable working within automated cloud localization workflows.
Strong self-management skills, a quality-oriented mindset, and responsiveness over email.

Responsibilities

Translate, post-edit, and revise technical content from English into Norwegian with a focus on natural, precise, and contextually accurate language.
Ensure strict adherence to technical terminology, style guides, and client-specific glossaries.
Collaborate efficiently with our Project Management team and provide constructive linguistic feedback to optimize localized workflows.
Maintain rigorous quality standards while consistently hitting agreed-upon project deadlines.
