Requirements
- Deep AWS VPC fundamentals (subnets, route tables, security groups, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink).
- Production experience with AWS CloudWAN (core policies, segments, multi-region/account topologies).
- Hands-on experience with AWS Network Firewall (rule groups, policy management).
- Working knowledge of VPC Lattice (service-to-service connectivity, auth policies).
- Experience with hybrid connectivity (Direct Connect, VPN, BGP routing).
- Strong proficiency in Terraform at scale (module design, state management, remote backends).
- Experience building reusable, versioned Terraform modules.
- Familiarity with CI/CD for infrastructure and policy-as-code (e.g., OPA, Sentinel, AWS Config).
- Understanding of multi-account AWS environments (Organizations, SCPs, RAM).
- Knowledge of network security governance, traffic inspection, and audit logging.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver cloud networking patterns using AWS CloudWAN, VPC Lattice, and AWS Network Firewall.
- Replace legacy network controls with centralized, policy-driven enforcement.
- Develop and maintain a Terraform module library for network provisioning.
- Integrate network provisioning into platform CI/CD and account vending pipelines.
- Serve as the primary technical bridge between Platform Engineering and Networking teams.
