Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, Statistics, or Applied Mathematics.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in data governance, data management, or data engineering.
- Full proficiency in English plus one additional language.
- Hands-on experience with Informatica (IDMC, Axon, EDC, DQ).
- Experience with governance platforms like Collibra, Alation, Ataccama, or Microsoft Purview.
- Proficiency in SQL for data profiling and querying.
- Experience in Python for automation of governance workflows.
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT pipelines (dbt, Airflow).
- Familiarity with data governance standards like DAMA-DMBOK, GDPR, and ISO 8000.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and standards tailored to client environments.
- Establish data ownership, stewardship models, and accountability structures.
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries, business glossaries, and classification taxonomies.
- Ensure compliance with data regulations (GDPR, BCBS 239, etc.).
- Design and implement data quality rules, profiling routines, and monitoring dashboards.
- Map and document end-to-end data lineage.
- Deploy and administer data catalog and metadata management tools.
- Configure and operate Informatica (IDMC, Axon, EDC, DQ) and equivalent tools.
- Automate data quality checks and governance workflows within ETL/ELT pipelines.
