Requirements
- First-line engineering management experience in automation platforms, workflow systems, or AI-powered features.
- Significant experience with AI model evaluations and driving results via evals.
- Strong people leadership and coaching skills in ambiguous technical environments.
- Solid software engineering background with experience in distributed systems, APIs, and system design.
- Hands-on technical ability to support workflow logic, integrations, or AI system behavior.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product and Design.
- Experience scaling teams and systems in high-growth SaaS environments.
- Exposure to LLMs, agents, or automation systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of engineers building agent-based systems.
- Foster a culture of experimentation and rapid iteration.
- Help the team design reliable agentic workflows.
- Support hiring and team building with a focus on AI and distributed systems.
- Translate evolving AI capabilities into clear product and engineering direction.
- Guide architectural decisions around agent frameworks, memory, and tool usage.
- Partner with Product and Design to define agent-powered workflow experiences.
- Establish best practices for workflow reliability and observability.
