Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in JavaScript/TypeScript frontend development.
- Proven experience leading or managing a development team of at least 4 engineers.
- Strong experience in iGaming or game development, including mechanics such as RNG, RTP, and bonus systems.
- Deep expertise in PixiJS, including rendering pipelines, sprites, containers, textures, and performance optimization.
- Experience in planning, estimating, and managing technical risks.
- Proven ability to optimize graphics, animations, and asset loading in performance-sensitive applications.
- Experience integrating REST and WebSocket APIs.
- Solid understanding of game loops, event-driven architecture, and state management patterns.
- Proficiency with Git workflows, branching strategies, and code review processes.
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and build tools such as Webpack or Vite.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a frontend game development team, including task allocation, workload planning, and delivery oversight.
- Mentor and support developers through regular 1:1s, feedback sessions, and individual growth planning.
- Define technical strategy, frontend architecture, coding standards, and best development practices.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Develop and maintain game logic using Pixi.js, including spins, bonus rounds, animations, and UI/UX interactions.
- Optimize rendering performance, including sprite management, asset loading, and memory usage.
- Integrate APIs for game features such as betting systems, RNG, bonuses, and transactions.
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability and quality.
