Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
- 9+ years of experience, including 6+ years in strategic finance, FP&A, or GTM finance in a high-growth or late-stage tech environment.
- Strong SaaS experience, ideally with exposure to usage-based or hybrid revenue models.
- Deep understanding of GTM metrics, including CAC, LTV, ROAS, churn, retention cohorts, and funnel conversion analysis.
- Proven experience partnering with Sales and Marketing leaders on forecasting, spend optimization, and performance strategy.
- Strong technical and analytical skills, including advanced Excel/Google Sheets, BI tools (Tableau), and SQL proficiency.
- Ability to work directly with raw data, build and validate datasets, and identify data integrity issues.
- Excellent business partnering and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong storytelling ability with data, simplifying complex financial insights into actionable recommendations.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic finance partnerships across Revenue and Marketing teams, acting as a trusted advisor to senior GTM leadership.
- Develop and own financial models linking sales capacity, marketing spend, conversion rates, and retention metrics to ARR growth.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and pacing processes for GTM functions, ensuring alignment with company financial targets.
- Build robust business cases and scenario models (ROI, LTV/CAC, payback analysis) to support strategic investment decisions.
- Define and track key GTM KPIs, including CAC, LTV, churn, retention efficiency, and sales productivity.
- Evaluate marketing and sales performance, partnering with Data, RevOps, and Marketing Ops to validate attribution and spend effectiveness.
- Support quarterly and annual business reviews with clear insights into growth drivers and efficiency metrics.
- Partner with Data and BI teams to define data requirements, build datasets, and ensure scalable reporting infrastructure.
- Write and leverage SQL independently to extract, validate, and analyze financial and operational data.
- Identify and implement AI-driven and automated solutions to improve forecasting, reporting, and analytical workflows.
