Valid Support Needs Certification in California (Mild to Moderate or Extensive)
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university
Minimum 3 years of experience as a professional educator
Laptop or desktop computer
Webcam and headset
Reliable internet access
Ability to participate in a virtual skills teaching demonstration
Must be willing to submit a background check and LiveScan fingerprinting

Responsibilities

Promote creativity and excitement in the virtual learning environment
Create strategies to engage and nurture student learning and student relationships
Create lesson plans aligned with the class curriculum
Keep track of student grades and performance
Teach the curriculum of the school on district virtual platform
Attend district PD and faculty meetings
Record student progress
Partner with in-class facilitator who is physically in class with students
