Requirements
- J.D. or equivalent law degree.
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- 1–3 years of relevant legal experience in a law firm, clerkship, or corporate legal department.
- Exposure to commercial contracts or general business matters.
- Strong legal drafting, research, and issue-spotting skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and practically with business stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and stay organized.
- Interest in developing broad-based in-house legal experience.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and help negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including SaaS, licensing, reseller, and services agreements, with guidance from senior counsel as needed.
- Assist with maintaining contract templates, playbooks, and clause libraries to support efficient and consistent legal review.
- Support the sales and business teams by helping review legal requests, preparing agreement summaries, and assisting with contract execution workflows.
- Conduct legal research and issue spotting on regulatory, privacy, and product-related questions, and help prepare practical guidance for internal stakeholders.
- Work with cross-functional teams to support alignment of commercial terms with legal standards and business needs.
- Assist with legal support for product launches, compliance initiatives, and other business projects.
- Help support legal operations and risk management processes, including tracking requests and organizing documentation.
- Respond to day-to-day legal and contract-related questions from internal teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to streamline legal workflows.
- Support departmental efficiency by assisting with administrative and reporting processes.
