Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret-level security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • 3+ years of experience with the ServiceNow platform
  • Proven experience working in the federal contracting space (DoD, DHS, or Civilian agencies)
  • Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Deep knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM and at least one other major workflow
  • Proficiency in Jira, ServiceNow Agile, or Azure DevOps
  • Proficiency in Visio, LucidChart, or similar process mapping tools
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

Responsibilities

  • Lead client workshops to elicit and document business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
  • Conduct gap analysis for ServiceNow OOTB functionality.
  • Design and distribute Agile processes and SOPs.
  • Review user stories for accuracy and readiness for sprint planning.
  • Mentor junior developers and analysts.
  • Conduct peer reviews of functional designs and test scripts.
  • Advise stakeholders on ServiceNow best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with federal IT standards like Section 508 and FISMA/NIST.
  • Develop and execute UAT plans.
