Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- 3+ years dedicated to the ServiceNow platform.
- Proven experience in federal contracting (DoD, DHS, or Civilian agencies).
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Deep knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM and at least one other major workflow (ITOM, HRSD, SPM, ITAM, Custom Applications).
- Proficiency with Jira, ServiceNow Agile, or Azure DevOps.
- Proficiency in Visio, LucidChart, or similar tools.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
Responsibilities
- Lead client workshops and focus groups to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Translate high-level business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
- Conduct gap analysis between legacy processes and ServiceNow OOTB functionality.
- Design and distribute Agile processes and SOPs in collaboration with the Agile Coach.
- Review user stories for accuracy and readiness for sprint planning.
- Mentor junior developers and analysts on business context and best practices.
- Develop process maps, workflows, and data models.
- Advise stakeholders on best practices to minimize technical debt.
- Ensure designs adhere to federal standards like Section 508 and FISMA.
- Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and create test scripts.
