Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering.
- 3+ years leading data engineering teams.
- Deep expertise with AWS services (CDK, S3, Lambda, Step Functions, Transfer Family).
- Strong experience with Snowflake.
- 3+ years using DBT (Core or Cloud) with comfort in advanced functionality.
- Hands-on proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Deep experience with healthcare or payor data.
- Proven ability to lead both technical projects and people.
- Familiarity with business intelligence/reporting tools.
- Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using AWS (S3, Lambda, Step Functions, Transfer Family, IAM, CDK).
- Build and integrate APIs to pull and update data.
- Build and own DBT models.
- Improve Snowflake queries and infrastructure.
- Ensure data quality, observability, and documentation are embedded in every process.
- Collaborate with Product Owner and Payor Data SME to prioritize and deliver roadmap initiatives.
- Manage project timelines, resourcing, and delivery milestones.
- Oversee data security best practices, including HIPAA-compliant architecture.
