Requirements
- Expert-level proficiency with Cursor and/or Claude Code for local data system development.
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering with end-to-end pipeline ownership.
- Strong Python skills for data processing, API integrations, and business logic.
- Experience building and maintaining dbt transformations in production.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Ability to work within US time zones (CT or ET zones).
- Direct and specific communication style.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain AI agent workflows using Cursor and Claude Code.
- Build and maintain a RAW to Base to Data Marts pipeline using dbt Core.
- Connect to and pull data from marketing and e-commerce APIs (Meta, TikTok, Shopify, Klaviyo).
- Build comprehensive test suites using Great Expectations or equivalent.
- Implement complex business logic and data validation in Python.
- Research and evaluate new approaches to agent orchestration.
- Write and maintain tests and documentation at every layer of the pipeline.
