Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- Demonstrated experience shipping production-ready systems
- Strong communication skills, especially for non-technical audiences
- Ability to operate independently without PM or spec
- Experience across backend, infrastructure, or data engineering domains
- Strong technical judgment and ownership
- Curiosity regarding the energy grid domain
Responsibilities
- Embedded with small groups of customers from kickoff through production
- Maintain a load of 3–5 concurrent accounts
- Conduct monthly multi-day site visits
- Design reference architecture for customer-specific software integrations
- Build energy-accounting and bill-credit reporting systems
- Perform technical landscape analysis for new commercial opportunities
- Translate technical system requirements to non-technical stakeholders
- Manage production code and participate in on-call rotations
