Our platform enables real-time grid operations, predicts transformer failures, and integrates distributed energy resources. You will help power companies like Vermont Electric Coop manage billions in infrastructure.

You will join a remote-first team where impact is paramount. We foster an environment where individuals are decisive and move quickly. Expect to uphold high standards in everything you do. We value judgment, ownership, and the ability to think across the stack. Our small team of around 20 allows for significant individual contribution. You can work from anywhere, with a slight preference for those in or near our New York City office.

Engineering at Texture

You will tackle complex challenges building critical infrastructure for the energy grid. Our engineers craft robust solutions using TypeScript, React, Go, Kafka, GraphQL federation, AWS, and TimescaleDB. We believe great engineers can learn new languages and frameworks. Your work will involve deep backend integration, DevOps, data engineering, and even some data science. We focus on building scalable reference architectures, not one-off solutions.
