Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or related technical fields.
- 5+ years in data architecture or solution architecture roles.
- Expertise in designing and scaling enterprise-grade data platforms in cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Databricks, and Azure data services.
- Knowledge of data modeling approaches including dimensional modeling, 3NF, and data vault.
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools and frameworks such as dbt, Spark, or Azure Data Factory.
- Understanding of CI/CD practices.
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, privacy, and metadata management.
- Experience enabling AI/ML workloads through data architecture.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Own and define enterprise data architecture strategy across conceptual, logical, and physical layers.
- Design and standardize modern data models and architecture patterns.
- Lead architecture for cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure).
- Define and govern end-to-end data pipelines, including ingestion, transformation, and integration.
- Establish enterprise standards for data governance, metadata, lineage, security, and quality.
- Architect AI/ML-ready data ecosystems, including semantic layers and feature stores.
- Provide technical leadership, guiding engineering teams from design to implementation.
- Act as a design authority in architecture reviews.
