Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or accounting (3-5 years preferred).
  • Experience in processing US Payroll.
  • Background working for small accounting firms.
  • Experience supporting multiple clients, ideally from US or western counterparts.
  • Proficiency in Quickbooks.
  • Basic MS Excel proficiency.
  • Advanced written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

  • Post bank transactions for approximately 20 clients.
  • Prepare adjusting journal entries.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
  • Review financial reports.
  • Process payroll for approximately 25 clients including hours entry, new hire setup, and employee info updates.
  • Enter and review vendor bills for accounts payable.
  • Support compliance for sales and payroll tax returns.
  • Prepare informational returns, property tax, and California annual reports.
