Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or accounting (3-5 years preferred).
- Experience in processing US Payroll.
- Background working for small accounting firms.
- Experience supporting multiple clients, ideally from US or western counterparts.
- Proficiency in Quickbooks.
- Basic MS Excel proficiency.
- Advanced written and verbal English.
Responsibilities
- Post bank transactions for approximately 20 clients.
- Prepare adjusting journal entries.
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
- Review financial reports.
- Process payroll for approximately 25 clients including hours entry, new hire setup, and employee info updates.
- Enter and review vendor bills for accounts payable.
- Support compliance for sales and payroll tax returns.
- Prepare informational returns, property tax, and California annual reports.
