Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or equivalent.
- 6+ years experience with Ruby on Rails.
- 3+ years experience with React.js or modern JS frameworks.
- 3+ years experience in 30+ team member sized engineering teams.
- 3+ years remote work experience.
- 3+ years AWS experience.
- 2+ years experience with AI coding agents (Claude Code, Codex).
- Experience with Docker, RESTful/GraphQL APIs, and SQL.
- Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Sentry, New Relic).
- Experience with CI/CD and GitHub Actions.
- Ability to work 9am-5pm ET.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain scalable web applications.
- Leverage AI coding agents to accelerate product development.
- Develop and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Develop asynchronous application processing using tools like Sidekiq.
- Build and maintain responsive, high-performance React.js interfaces.
- Write and optimize SQL queries across relational databases.
- Create technical specifications aligned with product roadmaps.
- Own features from design through development, deployment, and monitoring.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
