Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read technical documentation and visual schematics.
  • Ability to identify electrical and hydraulic symbols.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Hands-on knowledge of the product line (desirable).
  • Knowledge of construction and/or automotive equipment (plus).
  • Experience in customer service or technical support (preferred).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Receive calls from customers on equipment operating troubles.
  • Interview customers to understand operating symptoms and advise on solutions.
  • Provide warranty and operating information to customers.
  • Identify parts and supplies needed to restore equipment.
  • Communicate equipment problems or enhancements to internal teams.
  • Prepare and deliver formal training to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Travel to customer locations occasionally to oversee and repair operational problems.
  • Investigate accidents and equipment failures to determine causes.
